The Topcon LS-80X is a compact, hand held laser receiver built for single-person crews working on everything from sub-base levelling and footings to concrete finishing. Dual LCD screens on both sides and a loud, front-mounted speaker make it easy to find grade on noisy sites, and it works with most conventional rotating laser levels. Made in Japan and IP66 rated, it's built for daily use on Australian building and civil sites.

Which lasers does the Topcon LS-80X work with?
The LS-80X works with most conventional red-beam rotating lasers, including the Topcon RL-H5A, RL-H5B, RL-HV1S, RL-HV2S and RL-200 series. It is the standard receiver Topcon supplies in its RL-H5A and RL-HV standard kits.
What is the difference between the LS-80X and LS-110D receivers?
The LS-80X shows grade with 9-channel arrows at ±1 mm or ±2 mm precision across a 50 mm window. The LS-110D adds a digital millimetre readout of your exact distance to grade, a wider 90 mm capture window, four accuracy settings, built-in magnets and an IP67 rating.
Does the LS-80X come with a staff clamp?
No. The receiver comes with 2 × AA batteries. The genuine Topcon Holder 6 clamp (312890112) fits the LS-80 series and attaches the receiver to a levelling staff.
How long do the batteries last?
Up to 120 hours on two alkaline AA batteries, with a low-battery warning on the display and a 30-minute auto shut-off to save power.
Is the LS-80X waterproof?
It is IP66 rated, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets and heavy rain on site.
What warranty does the LS-80X have?
Topcon Australia covers receivers for 1 year from the date of purchase. Keep your proof of purchase for any claim. Damage from drops or misuse is not covered.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
